Baked Orange Chicken

Forget the deep-fried, syrupy version. Crispy baked chicken bites coated in a bright, zesty orange sauce made with fresh juice and no refined sugar.

INSTRUCTIONS

1 Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment.
2 Set up a dredging station: flour mixture in one bowl, beaten eggs in another. Coat chicken in egg, then flour. Place on baking sheet.
3 Bake 15–20 min, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through.
4 Simmer sauce ingredients (except slurry) in a small saucepan. Whisk in slurry; cook 1–2 min until thickened.
5 Toss baked chicken in the orange sauce. Serve with steamed vegetables.
